why does the app need always location?
the proof records the places you visit and the route you take throughout the day, including when the app is not in the foreground. always permission is required for this. all data stays on your device.

why does the app need motion permission?
the proof uses motion to detect when you are moving so it can sample your route only during active movement and save battery when you are still.

where is my data stored?
locally on your iphone, in the proof's app sandbox. nothing is uploaded.

how do i delete my data?
uninstall the app. there is no copy of your data anywhere else.

the app stopped logging.
check that always location is still granted in ios settings → privacy → location services → the proof.
